As the final aircraft departed the grounds, ILA Berlin 2026 concluded on June 14 with record-breaking results, solidifying its status as an indispensable platform for global aerospace innovation. The event welcomed a historic 110,000 attendees, highlighting intense global interest in the future of the sector.
Data from the organizers confirms that 765 exhibitors from 37 countries showcased advancements spanning climate-friendly aviation, defense technology, and space applications. Beyond a mere showcase, the fair acted as a powerful catalyst for commercial cooperation. Strategic highlights included the Lufthansa Group and Airbus reaffirming their 50-year partnership with a new maintenance agreement for the A220 fleet, and the German Ministry of Defense finalizing a government-to-government sales agreement with Montenegro, illustrating tangible progress in European defense capabilities.
